Profractional for lichen sclerosus aftercare instructions

To ensure proper care following your Profractional treatment, please follow these recommendations.

Bleeding and swelling is expected immediately post treatment: However if you have excessive swelling or any signs
of infection such as drainage, increased warmth around the treated area, fever of 101.5 or greater contact the office.
·Bleeding and swelling should reside in 5-7 days, but full healing can take up to 6 weeks.

·Avoid sexual activity for 2 weeks.
·Use cold compress as needed for comfort. Apply for 15-minute intervals.
·Apply CeraVe ointment twice a day and as needed for at least 1 week.
·Pat dry after urinating. Avoid constipation.
·Do not rub or scratch the treated area.
·Use Tylenol and Motrin as needed for discomfort.
·Ok to take lukewarm bath at least 8 hours after treatment. Do not use harsh soaps or scrub area.

After your ProFractional treatment, your skin may feel warm, similar to a sunburn, with some redness and swelling.
This is normal and should subside within a few days. You may also experience some peeling or flaking, which is part of the healing process.

·Wash treated area with gentle cleanser 2x a day
·Apply moisturizer when skin feels dry + SPF 30 daily
·Avoid strenuous exercise until skin has healed
·Apply cold compress to decrease swelling
·In rare cases OTC pain reliever may be taken
·Avoid hot tubs, saunas & direct sunlight for 48-72hrs

Forever Bare aftercare instructions

To ensure proper care following your Forever bare treatment, please follow these recommendations.

·Avoid strenuous exercise until skin has healed
·Apply cold compress to decrease swelling
·In rare cases OTC pain reliever may be taken
·Avoid hot tubs, saunas & direct sunlight for 48-72hrs

follow these recommendations.

Virtually no downtime after this non invasive procedure, in most cases you are able to apply make up and return to work immediately following treatment. Redness may be experienced in area treated, will resolve in a few hours. Swelling may be experienced. Pigmentation spots that were treated will darken over the course of up to 10 days, followed by flaking or fading of those pigmented spots. Body treatments may take longer than face to heal.

To ensure proper care following your HALO treatment, please follow these recommendations.

Redness is normal and expected, the treatment area may feel extremely warm for up to 24 hours. Pinpoint bleeding may occur, this may last up to 12 hours depending on treatment depth. Swelling may occur and last for 2-4 days. On day 2 you will see small tiny dark spots start to form and bronze appearance to skin (MENDs - Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris). Itching may be experienced during the healing phase, do not scratch or exfoliate this prematurely. Flake and Peel can last up to 7 days on face and up to two weeks on body. After MENDs has fallen off, tissue will have a pink hue that will gradually resolve.

·Cleanse skin with Elta MD cleanser 2x a day
·Apply Elta MD Post Procedure Balm: 24-36hrs am & pm
·Apply Elta MD Melting Moisturizer at night: Use for 36hrs post treatment
